Back School

You are the key to your pain alleviation with Baton Rouge chiropractic care.

The central theme of Back School is that we limit back pain, not necessarily cure it. Acknowledgement of the fact that, you have a transitional segment that puts your spine at risk for instability and limits the stress it can take, goes a long way in gaining confidence knowing that you can manage its pain and regain your quality of life again. Spine & Sports Rehab Center puts high priority on improving your quality of life.

Back School helps you and those close to you understand your spinal pain condition(s) and what is necessary to limit your pain. Observing a loved one go through pain leaves us feeling helpless. Finding out what is wrong and what can be done in office at Spine & Sports Rehab Center as well as at home which provides everyone an opportunity to help.

Back School talks about spine pain conditions, relates that spine pain is not an isolated experience, demonstrates correct movements for daily living, and puts all of us on the same page to assist the back pain sufferer.

The Spine & Sports Rehab Center presentation of Back School emphasizes that back pain control, not cure is generally the goal. It's a realistic goal for our Baton Rouge chiropractic patients and their families and loved ones.

It was interesting to find out that 95% of 61 patients who attended a back school felt it was a good use of their time to attend. They thought they grasped their condition more fully and learned something to avoid re-injury. (1)
