DEGENERATED DISCS AND KNEE PAIN REDUCE QUALITY OF LIFE;
CHIROPRACTIC IMPROVES IT
Degenerated discs and degenerated knees aren’t
such unlikely companions. They are cases
of musculoskeletal diseases and spinal malalignment that are related to a lesser quality of life
for older folks. Issues like low back pain, lumbar
spinal stenosis, knee pain due to osteoarthritis, decreased
lumbar lordosis (visible on xray), and enlarged
sagittal vertical alignment (visible on xray) influence
a person’s quality of life. Lumbar spinal stenosis and knee osteoarthritis are
the most influential issues for patients having a poorer
quality of life. (1) Another report links the disc height of the L1/L2,
L2/L3, and L3/L4 to knee pain with L2/L3 being the most strongly related.
(2) The old “Dem Bones” song holds true! Everything is related!
A degenerated knee may be connected to a degenerated disc. Spine & Sports Rehab Center understands
the connection and is prepared to help.

they regressed with conservative, non-surgical care! At about 17 months of
care, 75% of extrusions completely resolved, 15%
partially went away, and 10% did show any regression.
90% did! Additionally, those patients whose discs regressed
also stated that they had significantly improved NRS pain scores,
symptoms and disability issues. (3) Spine & Sports Rehab Center helps extruded discs find relief! They don’t
